Dear memebers, I need your advice on the vCPU count of the Palo alto.
Our old employee has left the company and we have received below configuration from palo alto based on the requirements, Below is the spec.
Install 6 VM NGFWs with 8 vCPUs, Each virtual firewall will have
the following licenses: Advanced Threat Prevention, Advanced
URL Filtering ,Advanced Wildfire, DNS Security, Global
Protect,Data Loss Protection (DLP), with Premium Support,
it says 6 VMs with 8 vCPU.
Is it 8 vCPU for each VM?
Can we have 12 VMs with 4 vCPU each? Please advice.

hiya
it depends how "big" the VM firewalls need to be, you can go up to 16 vcpu for a single VM
here's a matrix of the requirements per 'size':
and heres a comparoisson between the 2, 4 and 8 core VMs:
you need at least 2 vcpu per VM, so you would need a minimum of 12 for 6 VMs
