Hello Slawek,

Please refer to the following thread with shares Cacti templates for monitoring different variables:

Re: Cacti - Templates

Variables include:

  • Traffic the firewall is passing through each selected interface(s)
  • The number of Active Sessions (TCP, UDP and ICMP)
  • The number of Concurrent Sessions (aggregate of Active Sessions)
  • Session Utilization Percentage – Based on the PAN Firewall Model
  • Temperature of the Firewall
  • Uptime of the Firewall

I hope you find them useful.

Regards,

Kunal Adak

Hi

I know this topic very well ... I haven't enought skill to do my own template - that's the reason why I ask here.

Generic template give me only traffic from interfaces - nothing else - but  I know that is possible to get much more ...

I have a PA template that I'm using that queries for most everything you're asking for... it even uses a Discovery rule to discover the PA interfaces. I just need to clean out IPs and passwords from the template.

Anyone know where can I post it?

Please put it where Cacti templates are - ie.Cacti Host Template - PAN FW

thx

Slawek

OK, I uploaded my host template to Zabbix - Basic PA Host Template
