Return to Public Cloud Integration Scripts and Templates

For officially supported templates

This project is released under the official support policy of Palo Alto Networks through the support options that you've purchased, for example Premium Support, support teams, or ASC (Authorized Support Centers) partners and Premium Partner Support options. The support scope is restricted to troubleshooting for the stated/intended use cases and product versions specified in the project documentation and does not cover customization of the scripts or templates. Only projects explicitly tagged with "Supported" information are officially supported. Unless explicitly tagged, all projects or work posted in our [GitHub repository] (https://github.com/PaloAltoNetworks) or sites other than our official [Downloads page] (https://support.paloaltonetworks.com/) are provided under the best effort policy.

For community supported templates

This template/solution is released under an as-is, best effort, support policy. These scripts should be seen as community supported and Palo Alto Networks will contribute our expertise as and when possible. We do not provide technical support or help in using or troubleshooting the components of the project through our normal support options such as Palo Alto Networks support teams, or ASC (Authorized Support Centers) partners and backline support options. The underlying product used (the VM-Series firewall) by the scripts or templates are still supported, but the support is only for the product functionality and not for help in deploying or using the template or script itself. Unless explicitly tagged, all projects or work posted in our GitHub repository (at https://github.com/PaloAltoNetworks) or sites other than our official Downloads page on https://support.paloaltonetworks.com are provided under the best effort policy.

For third party (partner and customer) templates

Some of our third-party partners have solved cloud security challenges by integrating Palo Alto Networks in the cloud and automating the solution with templates.  These templates help solve real use cases using a combination of Palo Alto Networks and cloud automation including but not limited to:

  • Public cloud services
  • Cloud APIs
  • PAN-OS / Panorama APIs
  • Dynamic Address Groups
  • PAN-OS bootstrapping
  • and much more

For your convenience, we have provided links to possibly helpful examples of cloud automation and scale.  These links are included here for informational purposes only. Palo Alto Networks makes no warranties expressed or implied about these third-party solutions.  More importantly, Palo Alto Networks does not provide support for these solutions nor do we guarantee their functionality.  You shall proceed at your own risk and if you do so, you acknowledge and agree that Palo Alto Networks shall not be held responsible for any liability arising from any use and/or dependence on such third-party solutions.
