FY26 is officially in the books! Our fiscal year wrapped up, and it was a big year for the Fuel User Group community.

It was a year of expansion for our global community. We welcomed more members, added new user groups, and launched our free educational programming in new regions. Most importantly, we created more ways for users to participate and connect with one another.

A Growing Global Community

Our community reached 18,204 members by the end of the fiscal year. That is a growing network of cybersecurity professionals who come together to learn, share knowledge, and connect with others in the community. We also launched 20 new user groups, expanding our local presence across the globe. For our users, that means more opportunities to find a chapter closer to home and meet others who share the same interests.

Explore the Community

As our community grew, we wanted to make it easier to see what was happening across it. We launched our interactive chapter and event map, giving users a new tool to explore the community around the world. You can see where user groups are located, discover events, and get a better sense of what is happening across our global network. Whether you are looking for a group near you or curious about what is happening in another part of the world, the map makes it easier to find your way in.

More Ways to Connect

More user groups also meant more opportunities to participate. Our chapters hosted 203 events, an 81% increase over the previous year. These events enabled our members to meet locally, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. We were also present at several Palo Alto Networks Ignite events, giving attendees another way to discover Fuel and meet fellow cybersecurity professionals.

Expanding Access to Learning

Learning remained a central part of the community, and we continued to make educational resources available to everyone. We delivered 30 free global virtual events, giving users access to learning without having to be part of a specific local chapter.

We also extended our workshop series beyond Asia. After building the program in Singapore through SAGE, we brought the same free, monthly learning experience to Europe with the launch of WISE, giving users in the region a new avenue to build practical skills and connect with the community.

Built by the Community

The numbers tell part of the story, but the people are what make it work. Chapter leaders volunteer their time to create local events and bring users together. Users share what they have learned, ask questions, attend events, and help make space for others to participate. That is what makes this more than a collection of events and chapters. It is a community built through the contributions of the people who take part in it, and we are grateful to everyone who helped make this year what it was.

Looking Ahead

We are heading into a new year with a larger global community and a strong foundation to build on. We will continue expanding Fuel and bringing learning opportunities to more places. We will also keep looking for ways to make it easier for users to discover what is happening and find experiences that are useful to them.

We are proud of what we built together this year, and excited for what comes next.

The Fuel User Group is an integral part of LIVEcommunity, and indeed Palo Alto Networks as a whole. Cybersecurity moves too fast for anyone to navigate in a silo. By coming together to exchange real-world insights, test ideas, and sharpen skills through programs like SAGE and WISE, our members don't just stay ahead of threats—they actively shape the future of our industry. This collaborative spirit is the heart of LIVEcommunity, directly fueling the innovation and trusted relationships that make Palo Alto Networks what it is today.

Thank you to every single leader, contributor, and participant who made FY26 a milestone year. We couldn't have built this without you, and I can’t wait to see how far we take this network in FY27!
