Workshop - July 2026 - GlobalProtect Use Cases.png

On July 14, 2026, Fuel hosted two instances of the same session to allow for people across the world to learn about several different GlobalProtect use cases.

During this event, we heard from Angel Cortes, moderated by Suresh Kumar Selvam, about six different ways that people could run into issues with GlobalProtect and what they can do remedy the situations.  The topics covered are:

  1. Load Balancer impact on GlobalProtect connection flow.
  2. Gateway reconnection logic and SAML vs Cloud Authentication Services
  3. GlobalProtect client receiving a one second lifetime and disconnecting immediately
  4. Split-tunnel domain-based include and exclude lists
  5. Browser client certificate selection prompt
  6. Enforcer blocks authentication access
