C is for Client Certificates that can be used for Authentication.

C is also for C-3PO, who was a protocol droid that was fluent in over 6 million forms of communication. But I don't ever recall C-3PO ever needing a Client Certificate for Authentication.

In this Video Tutorial, Kenan Yilmaz walks us through setting up GlobalProtect and all of the steps needed to get Client Certificate Authentication working.

Here are some of the steps in getting this to work:

  • Creating a Certificate Profile
  • Configure the GlobalProtect objects to use the Certificate Profile
  • Create and Export a Client Certificate
  • Test Client Certificate authentication
