Broker VM shown disconnected

L1 Bithead

Hi, our Broker VM is shown disconnected on XDR console. The VM is up and running and I can connect to it via SSH. It can connect to the paloaltonetworks.com domain as I can see the traffic on firewall. Version is 25.0.44. Even the last seen is today, but the VM keeps shown disconnected. We have had similar problems with thin clients agents but the Broker VM doesn't have agent running.

Hi @K.Gadirov

Thanks for your query on LC!

Do you see any active agent connections through this BVM?
From my experience of facing such issues - There could be a block for any one of the domains or resource listed in this article - https://docs-cortex.paloaltonetworks.com/r/Cortex-XDR/Cortex-XDR-Pro-Administrator-Guide/Setup-Acces...

Please see if all required resource is allowed on firewall, If yes and still have issues then this could be better investigated with the help of BVM logs where it actually indicates whats going on with this host- you may seek help from TAC on this.

DNS settings on VM?

Hi Nar, turns out it was a connection issue to one of the subdomains of paloaltonetworks.com. Thanks for the help
