Can Cortex XDR (formerly Magnifier) Ingest DHCP, DNS, Active Directory Logs?

L1 Bithead

Curious if Cortex XDR has the ability to ingest logs from DHCP, DNS and Activey Directory domain controllers for analyzation along with logs being sent from any firewalls.

Hi Jdemery,

Thank you for your question, today with PAN-OS 8.1 the Next Generation Firewall is able to extract from the network traffic DHCP and DNS logs if Enhanced Application Logging is enabled with the Logging Service.

For more information about how Cortex XDR will utilize the logs, please reach out to your Palo Alto Networks SE who will be able to arrange a roadmap session.
