Cortex XDR Pro - Difference between two broker vms set at one agent and a broker vm cluster

L4 Transporter

Hello dear community,

can you describe the difference between 2 broker vms set up at one agent and a broker vm cluster?

Why should we take a cluster and do not set 2 broker vms at one agent?

BR

Hi @RFeyertag

From my point of view, the advantages are minor and not relevant for most environments:

  • Automatic upgrades without interruption
  • Configuration is synchronized

For "active/active" applets that require load balancing, you must install a Load Balancer in your network to distribute the incoming data between the nodes.

Hope that helps. Bes Regards
