How to import a multiple hash value in block list

L2 Linker

Hello ,

Is there any option available to upload multiple hash value in block list using CSV file.

I had checked for cortex xdr import file hash exception however its really difficult to find out the filetype for each hash value. So is there any option to ignore this and add only hash irresp of file type.

Hello @tejaspatil12

Thanks for reaching out on LiveCommunity!

Unfortunately you cannot upload a file with multiple hashes in block list. You have to add hashes one by one upto 100. For Import hash exception providing file type column is must.

Hi @tejaspatil12

Check the API for Cortex XDR. It should be possible to upload new block list values with only hash and comment. Also with tools or scripts you can iterate through your csv file.

API documentation: https://docs-cortex.paloaltonetworks.com/r/Cortex-XDR-REST-API/Block-List-Files

If you don't want to use scripts you can try tools like postman (https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/cortex-xdr-articles/cortex-xdr-postman-api-collection/ta-p/4436... )
