Managed Digital Signers Block List

L1 Bithead

Hello All-

I am hoping this is a quick question as I did not find this in XDR documentation.  It is my understanding that Palo manages a "trusted signers" list.  Is there a way to leverage a similar list to automatically block the use/execution of digital signers that are unwanted?  I know that a custom BIOC rule can be created but am wondering is such "block list" is maintained?

The scenario is related to the recent AnyDesk compromise.  The fix of course it to upgrade the software but it would be great if we could add the digital signer that was revoked or known to be bad and add this to a global block list.

I hope my question makes sense.  This type of capability would be great for any software app which faces this type of issue.  Seems more scalable and manageable than the old "whack a mole" game with file hashes.

Thanks.

Hi,

It is possible, but would require you to open a case with support to obtain a "Support exclusion" JSON file to add digital certificates to the "UntrustedPublishers" list.

Hope this help.

Alex.

Alex-

Thanks for the response.  I was aware of the support process so perhaps will go that route.  I was wondering if there was some other way in which the customer could add to this list or not as "self-service".

Is there a way to currently view the list of "untrusted publishers" within the XDR platform?
