"Unsupported Platform" shown in CVE Column for Vulnerability assessment in Cortex XDR

L1 Bithead

Hi,

I encountered a situation where we see "Unsupported Platform" in CVE column unexpectedly for MacOS endpoints in Vulnerability assessment in Cortex XDR. Does anyone know why  this might have happened ? Or what is the reason and how to fix this ?

Hi @MadhuriN,

As per Vulnerability Assessment article, by design the Cortex XDR will collect only the applications list information from macOS and there will be no CVEs.
This is the reason you see "Unsupported Platform" in CVE column for MacOS endpoints in Vulnerability assessment.

Odd I am a windows shop and I see this under applications, lets take Zoom as example it shows unsupported platform. I am getting no cve concerns listed on 6,369 results which has me wondering if my platform is not reporting correclty.
