RedHat 8/9 XDR client count limited

L0 Member

As I have added clients to my XDR Linux group I have seen a situation where I hit a limit on client count (under 20 BTW). After I have them all added there will be 2 or 3 missing. If I restart the process on a missing client, that one immediately appears, but one of the previous ones drops off. If I restart the process on that one the other one drops off. I believe I have 21 clients, but at present the max I can see is 17. That number has risen to 19 before, but has dropped back to 17. There are no errors apparent.

Ideas?

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out LC.

So, when one of them disappears, does the agent gets uninstalled?

Can you please elaborate a bit more?

Have you checked the available license count yo have?

They do not get uninstalled. If I restart the service on a missing client it reappears. Then one of the previously visible clients disappears. If you check status on a missing client's service it shows it's running.

We have hundreds of Windows clients, and they don't exhibit such issues. I'm told we are not facing a license count limit. This is only happening with Linux.
