Smartscreen functionality side by side with the Cortex agent on FAT-Client (not Server)

Hello dear community, 

the Cortex XDR agent disables Windows Defender on FAT-Clients automaticly. 

Does Smartscreen in "App & Browser Control" still work in this state?

Assuming that Fat-Client has workstation OS. Cortex XDR will disable the smartscreen settings, hence it won't work as Cortex XDR will prevent it.

does cortex also disable the msedge smart screen?
