Hi folks, can anyone help me with how to install the community edition of SOAR on my personal laptop? Also, will the database server be installed automatically, or do we need to install it separately along with SOAR?

not sure about what exactly you are ask help - but to answer your question, a simple most-basic structure and installation did not require an external db. when you install the XSOAR application on your local VM using a linux distro the installation creates a local BoltDB that the server uses.
