[demisto-sdk] Sharing a test_data folder with all automations in a content pack

L3 Networker

We have been building a custom content pack and it has many automations. These automations ended up needing the same test files. Is there a way to share these test files with all automations in a pack?

I tried accessing the parent directory in the test environment but it didn't work.

@Ivetto Thank you for your reply, the test files are basically txts. I modified demisto-sdk a bit to change the `lint` environment. Demisto-sdk is now able to load the test files in the parent directory. The official repository however didn't accept my contribution because such a feature required internal discussion and they decided to not implement that. So I am fine with my own version for now.

Hello, what is the type of these test files?

We have the possibility of exporting the custom bundle which would include custom items you have worked on in the environment but it would include everything, not sure if that is something you are okay with but it's an option.

You can export the bundle going to Settings > About > Troubleshooting > Custom content > Export

Then use the same process in the other environment to import the zipped file.
