Meaning execute automation with "Run on a separate container"

L4 Transporter

Hello colleagues,

When executing an automation, there's an option called "Run on a separate container". We'd like to know which are the main differences about using it.

Hi @Josep, when an automation is triggered. Cortex will check the Docker image name. If a container with the same image exists then it is used to run the automation. If not, a new docker container is created with that image.

This option overrides that check and forces a new container to be created.

Thanks, so at the end it just forces to create a new container, perfect.
