SMAX Integration Error

L0 Member

Hi Everyone,

We have integrated SMAX as the ticketing solution on XSOAR for one of the clients.

After configuring, it is giving an unexpected error. I don't think its a network issue or issue with the credentials.

Some assistance on the error would be really helpful. Please find the error message below (also present in the screenshot attached).

Error: Failed to execute test-module command. Error: Invalid return character or leading space in header.

Best Regards,

Manish

Note: We have doubly checked the integration configuration and the parameters have been entered correctly.

Hi  I see you have a space in your user name which may or may not be a problem.   Can you try running !microfocus-smax-get-entity entity_type="Incident" entity_id="16989" entity_fields="Description,Urgency,Status,RegisteredForActualService" replacing 16989 with an actually incident id and see if its possibly just an issue with the test module?     An additional thing you can try (though I would make sure the logs were sanitized to be posted in a community forum)  is to go to the bottom of the SMAX integration and set logging level to debug (see screenshot)?    This will put the logs in the integration-instance.log  You can then create/download the log bundle to see the log (just remember to switch it back to off once you're done troubleshooting) .   Here's some other things you can do to generate more logging information so you can troubleshoot the instance
