Expedition 1.1.23 VM's Machine Learning path needs remediation

L0 Member

Just deployed Expedition 1.1.23 VM (from Expedition.tgz) into VMware Fusion 11.1.0 and the Expedition Internal Checks on the Expedition WEb UI Dashboard VM indicate that the Machine Learning paths (Connections.parquet) and (Temp.Data Structs) need to be remidated, If you goto the Machine Learning Section of the Setting Web Page, the (Connections.parquet) and (Temp.Data Structs) paths are blank. The Community Forum has a link on how to fix this.

However after following those step, I still have the same issues. In addition  the values for the (Connections.parquet) and (Temp.Data Structs) path does not save.

Who ever created the image should have validated all the Expedition Internal Checks passed, before making the Image? Is anyone else having the same issue.

based on the sympton you describe - not able to save the settings can you reapply the update and test agasin.

$sudo apt-get update

$sudo apt-get install expedition-beta

I ran into the issue with the "Temp. Data Struct path"  when upgrading from the "vanilla" (tgz) image directly to 1.1.24.

Needed a  sudo apt-get --reinstall install expedition-beta as apt would say "already newest version".

Thanks for the hint - Did the job!
