Expedition Not running BPA

L0 Member

Hello,

I recently deleted our Expedition VM and created a new one so it on a newer OS. Everything seems to work besides the Project > BPA tool.  I seem to be running into the same issue in the link below and their fix was a downgrade to known working version. I don't think I can downgrade as this is a 100% new install. Are there other fixes other than downgrade?

Server OS is ubuntu
Expedition 1.2.58
spark 0.1.3-h2
BPA 3.33.0

@lychiang, I currently use AIOPS. AIOPS does not do everything that Expedition does. Until AIOPS is a mirror I want Expedition to work.

Same here, anyone have BPA functioning? AIOPS is not an option.

Hi @awisch

Expedition is using a very old version of BPA so the obtained report will not be accurate. I will encourage you to use the BPA version you have available at https://customersuccess.paloaltonetworks.com/bpa/

Hope this helps,

Best regards,

David

BPA in Expedition tool was broken for awhile.  The fix is in version 1.2.85.  Have a look at this page: https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/expedition-release-notes/expedition-1-2-85-hotfix-information/t...  The remedy is to upgrade to 1.2.85 and run the script listed in the change log on the above referrenced page.
