Hello community,
I'm working in one migration from CP to PA.
I found one CP have multiple domain (virtual systems) exactly 3. So where extract the configuration I have 4 tar.gz files (3 virtual system and 1 management) and 4 routes files (3 virtual system and 1 management).
My question, I need to upload one by one and work in 4 different taps in expedition and when I will have already the 4 configs proceed to merges the config with PA Based config or exist one way to upload in one file like Cisco?
Thanks
Andres

Hi @Apadilla You can use the merged config generated from project 1 , don't need load it onto firewalll and export out again for remaining projects.

Hi @Apadilla You will need to do them one by one in four different Expedition project. If you are merging to panorama device, create four new device group and four new templates for each of the project to merge to, when you done with the first project , export the merged config out and use it as the base config for the 2nd project, same approach for the 3rd and 4th projects , at the end of 4th project, you should have the merged config for all four of your checkpoint configs.

Thanks for the fast answer!
Ok, yes, I need to merge to one PA FW.
So, the process will be.
1. Complete the project 1
2. Merge with the PA base config.
3. Export the merged PA base config. Or does is possible use the running config that expedition generate at this point?
4. Upload to PA Firewall that first project and commit to firewall. If everything is fine.
5. Export the config and upload to expedition to merge the project 2.
6. Proceed with the same process until merge all the 4 projects.
thanks
Andres
