Import panorama device group policies

I've been able to migrate config from Fortigate to Panorama with Expedition, but now I'm hoping to do some bulk updates on policies in Panorama using Expedition.

Expedition isn't connected to Panorama, I'm hoping to do everything via export/import - have exported configuration from Panorama for just the device group containing all the policies I want to manipulate, but when I import XML into Expedition it doesn't create anything in the project other than the 3 predefined services?

I can see the XML file does contain the security policies I'm interested in (and addresses/services which I don't really care about)

I tried exporting a configuration version from Panorama including also the parent groups for the policies I want to modify as some of these objects are referenced in these policies, but get the same result.

Hi @Hyne_Infrastructure  When you export the config from panorama, you need to export the full running config , not just the device group config, since Expedition needs to read the whole config , when you done with modification in Expedition, in panorama, you can load only the device group that you modified.

Thanks, that did import all my security policies. I couldn't see any way to filter policies by device group or location to make it easier to work on the set I was interested in - I was able to work around this as none of my other policies were in post-rulebase and I moved the relevant ones there, but is there a better option for this?

@Hyne_Infrastructure @In expedition, you can view objects or policy for specific device group by switching the context located on the right lower bottom .

Ah, excellent, thank you again.
