Same task over and over, automate?

L3 Networker
So we are in a big project to replace lots of junos firewall. Atm every time we do a new firewall we create a new project and have to The same task over and over (search replace ping, rpc applications and some more) we also do a renaming of some host group.

Since this takes some time each time. Im wonder if its somewhow any advance feature to do a macro for this?

We are aware of this aspect and we have plans for those level of automations, but we are not going to support them in the short run tho.

We are working on modules to track/audit the tasks that you ahve performed in a project so that you can view what has been done, and re-fire those tasks into other projects with minimal modifications.

This implies several internal changes, starting by creating an API.

So, we listen and we work on this, but it will take some time.

Any news on this?

We are still working on the Expedition 2.0, that will offer automation capabilities.

In a few months we will offer it internally to Palo Alto Networks employees to help improving the tool before we make it completely available to the public.

Im also looking for this. Any news?
