How stable? How tested? Is this mostly incremental changes on the inside? The mentioned improvements to the management performance have me very interested, but when I went from 3.x -> 4.0 we had nothing but problems due to a few bugs.
I'm now upgrade-wary.

Never go live with a .0 version!
I have deployed one unit in 4.1.0 in TAP mode and it's working as expected; I notice some GUI bug but I'm not sure if it's related to Chrome or not:
By example:
- customer application timers are not removed from the GUI but are well from the configuration
- commit button remains grey even if some changed have been made
