L3 Networker

Hi,

For 5050 device datasheet says 4Gbps

Is threat prevention On for that value ? or when we make it on it will be 2 Gbps ?

Can someone clear that ?

Hello Panlst,

As per my understanding, IPSEC throughput should not have any additional effects when the FW is enabled with TP.

Re: What is Threat Prevention Throughput?

Could IPsecVPN throughput effect FW or TP throughput?

Hope this hwlps.

Thanks

Thanks.

but they are not clear.

is it 2 or 4 with Threat enabled (all full ipsec vpn traffic)

Yes, You are correct.

FYI. For a PA-5050 FW

  • 10 Gbps firewall throughput (App-ID enabled1)
  • 5 Gbps threat prevention throughput
  • 4 Gbps IPSec VPN throughput

Thanks

ok so for 5050

4gb ipsec vpn traffic (with or without Threat prevention) same throughput

As per datasheet, it should give you 4Gbps ipsec vpn traffic with Threat prevention in place.

Thanks

Asked to Paloalto,

4Gbps is full ipsecVPN nothing else active, (udp 1400byte)

not known a real value with enable threat prevention.

Is there any document they have referred to you.?

Please talk to your SE.They will help you about that.
