Active-Active Clustering

L0 Member

Hi,

I have configured Active-Active Clustering with LAN Side ARP Load-balancing with shared IP and WAN side Floating IP. Everything is working fine but when i am going to Monitor to see traffic it says only one box is getting traffic. there is not traffic log for second box.

What is Active-Active if Load is not sharing between two boxes.

Hope anyone can help me out on this.

Hello TAM_media,

All traffic logs are logged by the session owner. When the session owner fails, the other device will become the session owner and will handle logging. Should the failed device recover before the session ends, it will take back ownership of the session and handle logging.

To view who is session owner, you can use the following command:

admin@PA-2(active-primary)> show session id 19485 | match HA

session synced from HA peer : False

session owned by local HA A/A : True

Thanks and regards,
