Block Tubemate app (Youtube Downloader)

Hello guys,

Is there any way to block TubeMate application which is used for downloading videos from youtube?

It also uses youtube base application.

NOTE - I want to keep YouTube open.

Please suggest ! Thank you in advance.

From a cursory glance it doesn't look like it actually requires access to anything outside of YouTube itself, so at a glance I'm not seeing anything that would allow you to block this application.

What if i create file blocking profile wherein we will block e.g. mp4 file and apply this profile to security policy which is allowing youtube traffic.

Will this work out?

Yes worth giving a try to block .mp4 as inside tubemate you can downlaod files from alot of websites i.e.facebook, youtube, insta etc.
