Hi all,
As the title says, I'm trying to block credit card numbers from being copied and pasted into an email when using Gmail.
I can confirm the data pattern is working because if I attach a file that contains test credit card numbers, I recieve an error message and also see a entry in the data filtering log.
Also if I try and open my sent items within Gmail this timeouts, again due to matching the data pattern, i just can't seem to block the actual sending of an email.
Any ideas?
I'm running this in a lab environment so the policies are very basic, using PA-4020 running 3.1.3
Cheers,
Jimmy

Hello Jimmy,
If I am reading this current is if you attach a file using gmail we block that traffic but if you copy and paste the cc number into the body of the email it passes right through? If that is so that sounds like a bug please up a case so we can debug further.
