Has anyone been successful in blocking the Publish A Post option on LinkedIn. I don't kknow how to do custom application blocking if it is needed and tech support just said they would submit a feature request.

Hello ANorton,
If i understand your query correctly, you are trying to block linkedin-posting through PAN firewall.? In that case, if you specify application linkedin-posting ( dependent app linkedin base and web-browsing) and set the action as "deny", is it not getting blocked by PAN FW..?

Don't forget to decrypt your ssl traffic because if you don't decrypt then you don't see into ssl and don't know if user is reading on posting to Linkedin.

Actually this isn't posting. it is Long-form posting which for some reason is different than the linkedin-posting application. I am able to block everything else as requested and have a read-only viewing by just allowing linkedin-base.
