can pbf override connected interface route as well?

L2 Linker

I know PBF takes precedence over VR, routes in the fib table. But will it also override connected interface network as well??

Hi @RamBalaji,

The below document may be useful for you. Route lookup is always one of the first things that is done, even for connected interfaces - PBF overrides this. In the case of "Enforce symmetric return", route lookups are disabled for return traffic and the packet is sent to the MAC address of the first received packet in the session.
