Can't download GP client from the portal

L3 Networker

We are setting up GP for SSL VPN. For testing purposes , we have created a local db account on the box and setup GB. The portal comes up and when u log in , u never go beyond the login page . It keeps trying to connect and never does . It eventually times out . This is for external users connecting through the public IP . Users on the corporate MPLS connect to the portal with no issue .  Any ideas on how to fix this ?

Found out the PA 500 vulnerability profile was blocking that traffic . It saw it as an informational vulnerability profile . Took it out and could download the client externally . GP is now connecting .

Do you see an error message at the Portal login page?

Try verifying the config using this document

How to Configure GlobalProtect

There is no error on the portal login . It comes up fine and u can input the credentials . The problem is it doesn't get to the download client page . However, it works fine when u connect internally on the MPLS network to download the client . Still can't connect using GP client .

I have seen this in cases where the GP client has not been activated.

Can you try Reactivating the GP client navigating to:( Device-->Global Protect Client)

What is the PAN-OS?
