Can't translate password

L4 Transporter

Hello,

We are unable to commit changes on astandalone PA-200 as is shows the error message. Can't even create local accounts on the firewalls. Anything which uses a password generates this error.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Farzana,

Are you running 8.0.x ?

There is an issue which is expected to be fixed in a later release. For now, as a workaround, please do - debug software restart process user-id  and see if that fixes the issue.

Regards,

Anurag

Hi Farzana,

Do your passwords contain any letters not used in the english alphabet such as:

ú

or

If you do then I would create passwords that contain only english alphabet letters as I think this may be causing your issue. Try changing your keyboard to English (UK) or English (US).
