Captive Portal Error Android - Iphone

L4 Transporter

Good afternoon, please your support, I have the following problem:

I configured the captive portal function.

Pan OS: 9.1.9

All the corresponding configurations were made, certificate, ssl decrypt, authentication rules, decrypt rules

If I connect to a Wireless signal from a laptop, when I open Crome, Edge or IE, I look for a site and I jump the Palo Alto Captive Portal, I authenticate without problems and I can navigate.

The problem is with mobile/cellular devices, both with Iphone, 3 different iphone and 3 different android were tested, when opening Crome, a site, you accept the warning, you put continue to leave the authentication site and there it stays, thinking, thinking, thinking and the site is not displayed.

Both the laptop and the cellular/smartphone/mobile phones are on the same Wifi signal. But on the laptop it works as expected, but on the mobile devices it stays there. The same case happens if I force the authentication URL, it stays there and does not open the web, this happens with the 6 smartphones.

The steps of these URLs were performed, and the same result follows:

I remain very attentive, and of course very grateful to the community for the support of always.

Thank you very much.

@Metgatz,

Does your mobile devices accept the certificate that you are using for decryption and the actual captive portal? If not, I would get that situated and see if simply trusting the certificates presented by the firewall will allow the captive portal to function correctly.
