CheckPoint / Migration Tool / Panorama

L0 Member

I have been through the process of getting the files from CheckPoint, going through the migration tool to eliminate unused address, services, etc.  I have completed the merge, generated the XML & SET files.

I want to get these configuration files into Panorama so we can manage the firewall cluster from Panorama.  Can someone tell me or point me to the documentation that explains which file is needed and how to import it into Panorama?

There is a lot of documentation about MT:

https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/Migration-Tool-Articles/tkb-p/mt_articles

Also there is whole subforum about using MT:

For your case i would say you have to import your current Panorama configuration as base configuration and import new configuration as one of the devices it will manage.

Which Checkpoint files did you use as import into the migration tool, and what version Checkpoint was it?
