Does the Web GUI use flash or another plugin? I'm able to use it without it enable, but I receive a warning.

The interface uses flash for display objects and animations to visualize the device status and some reports.

You can still perform all configuration functions without flash enabled, just some objects will not display correctly.

Are there any plans to eliminate Flash usage and say, go to using HTML 5?

Flash always seems like a security hole, and if we can avoid using it, the better.

Just my 2 cents.

Seems like using Flash isn't a good idea anymore.

Hi Guys,

The App-Scope section of the Monitor tab was flash-based in pre-6.1 versions of code, but in 6.1 and later it is HTML5 and as far as I know there's no other flash in the web interface.  Are you guys noticing contradictory information?

Mike

My screenshot above applies to a box running 6.1.3
