The laptop probably has WoL (wake on lan) enabled, this makles the computer wake up when it receives a speciually crafted magic packet
you can set an interface in TAP mode on your Palo Alto NEtworks firewall, and hook it to a span port on the switch to listen for activitry, which hopefully will reveal the source of this packet

From the command prompt, run powercfg.exe -lastwake
this will tell you what is waking your device.
