Did you find a way to resolve the problem ?

L6 Presenter

Exactly the same problem (Failed to get content for 'base--candidate'!) on Panorama 10.2.8. Anyone opened a case with PA support for this? Seems to be an old issue but no official info about it anywhere.

L3 Networker

If there are special characters like # and & in the config the audit fails, Removing them from the config fixes the issue.

L6 Presenter

It doesn't work for comparing running and candidate config and those names are generated by the PA device itself. And that is also probably most frequently used comparison.
