Hello,
I'm creating locally a lot of new zones on a 3020 firewall, but committing it says the hardware limit is 40.
Currently I inherit 9 zones from a Global Template from Panorama, but I don't need that zones.
I cannot modify the Global Template. There's a way I can simply delete the zones from the local firewall?
If I select a zone, the delete button is grey. If I click on the green (inherit) icon, it opens the zone in Read Only access.
Any suggestions?
The PanOS is 8.0.10.
Thanks!

I don't believe that there is a way to remove a zone that's managed by Panorama from the firewall locally.
On a side note, how are you getting close to the hardware limit on the 3020? Most people would fully reach the limit of the 3020 in other aspects before they ever get close to the zone limit.

I'm migrating from an ASA, for every access-list associated to an interface it has created a zone. Then I erased everything for some error and recreated manually.
At this point I think I will collapse all the DMZ in a unique zone.
Thanks
