Disk usage for / exceeds limit, 95 percent in use, cleaning filesystem

L4 Transporter

Hello,

Since upgrading PA-200 to 8.0, we’re having disk space issue more often.

It seems to be due to excess logging, which we clear up.
Is there a way to automatically clear these logs once the disk hits a lower threshold?

Thanks in advance.

Hi There,

Depends which partition is filling up. run the cmd below;

>show system disk-space

and post.

We can chenage retention periods of traffic logs, delete pan-os version not in use, old configs, old log files,

sometimes pan tac need to be called in to clear the root partition  through root access..

Best regards,

Rob
