DLP Options

L0 Member

Im exploring some various DLP options for one of my clients. Im niot finding much in regards to DLP functionality on Palo Altos (I have a pair of 3020's)

Does anyone know what Palo Altos DLP solutions consist of? If any?

Im primarily concerned with the loss of IP/sensitive data.

Thanks!

Hello,

There are a few things you can do with regards to file filtering and data patterns. However the PAN should only be used to augment a DLP solution, in my opinion.

File Blocking:

Data pattern:

Regards,

@kcampbell,

As @OtakarKlier stated I've used the firewalls to augment DLP solutions, but I wouldn't rely on them as your sole DLP resource. Functionality is kind of limited, and it requires a lot of setup on your end to really create the data patterns you want to search for.
