do we require downtime to add additional hard disk for logging in PA VM FW

L3 Networker

We want to add additional hard disk for logging in PA VM-500.

What is the maximum limit for hard disk size?

Do we require to shutdown the PA VM Firewall while adding new hard disk ?

@Deepak_K,

The maximum size of any disk on any PAN product is 2TB, and you'll need to shutdown the firewall before you add the new disk and for the firewall to "see" the new disk and initialize it for use.
