Does Palo Alto provide any protection against Dos Attacks ?

For example a basic TCP syc flooding attack. Is there a list of the type of features that are impletemted in the Palo Alto device that can be used to mitigate DoS/DDoS attacks ?

If Palo Alto needs to replace the IPS and the firewall , then it is becoming a critical component in the network. I would expect DoS Mitigation an integral component of a device that intends to replace a list of network security equipment on the network , especially the IPS. I do understand that DoS Mitigation is a difficult task, but it should be able to atleast mitigate the basic ones.
