Answer: PAN-OS devices can update their own clocks (as clients passively consuming the time, not servers giving out the time) using NTPv4.
Outside of time syncing PAN-OS also supports autokey and symmetric key (introduced in PAN-OS v6.1 as part of the Authenticated NTP feature).

I'm a little confused on what your asking exactly. Your question appears to be "Does PANOS support NTPv4" but then in your description it appears as though you give the answer that you're looking for. Was this a question or were you just trying to point out that the feature exists?

Thanks for pointing that confusion out. Was an attempt to answer questions around the NTP version support in PANOS.
Hopefully it stands clarified.
