Dynamic update error " Failed to upload image..."

L3 Networker

While trying to push dynamic updates from Panorama to managed devices it is failing for some of the devices(PA-200)

It gives an error " Failed to load image.."

We have checked the licenses of the devices for which dynamic updates are failing and found that it is valid.

Also the PANOS version of Panorama is 6.0.4 and the managed devices PANOS versions are below 6.0.4.

What could be the probable cause for such an error as I was not able to find the same in any KB article..

Hello tac.in,

Could you please check ms.log while performing the dynamic updates on the PAN firewall.

> tail follow yes mp-log ms.log

It will show you a detail information.

Thanks

As HULK mentioned, check the ms.log file.

There is also an issue with Panorama pushing updates to Firewalls that was resolved in 6.1.0.  Before upgrading, please check the ms.log file, to get more specifics and let us know.

Thanks

I get the same message when i try to install software from Panorama (8.0) to a PA-3000. It sits for several minutes and eventually says failed to upload image.  A tail of the log on the firewall shows:
