Dynamic update scheduling question

L2 Linker

Hi Everyone,

 I manage a few firewalls (same model) with a template under Panorama; my firewalls do get Wildfire updated but I'm not sure how often they get updated. On Panorama, I look under Device -Dynamic Updates-'TemplateFWs', I don't see anything schedule/setup for Wildfire (WildFire Schedule: None(Manual)) but when i go to each firewall and check under Device - Dynamic Updates, the firewalls do get Wildfire installed (antivirus, threats also installed) about an hour ago and schedule shown None (Manual). A couple of questions:

What's controlling this update/install these firewalls?

How do i schedule them to update/install every 15 minutes?

Thanks.

@tinhnho,

You could just configure the schedule under the template and push it to the devices in question if you want it to update every 15 minutes and push it to the devices. If the firewall itself isn't showing a schedule configured however, are you sure that someone you work with (or who previously managed these firewalls) didn't automate the update via a scheduled scripted API call by chance?

Hi @BPry,

You're right, there is a schedule that is scheduled under Scheduler. This schedule is automatically downloading and installing every 30 minutes.

Thanks.
