execute command on other device

Not applicable

Hi, Live Community,

Can you please tell me whether or not it is possible to execute a command on the other device in PAN-OS, and see the output (without logging into the other device, for example)?

Thank-you so much,

Dan Sullivan

Hi,

It is not possible to execute a command on a PAN device without logging in (either manually or through a script).  I would suggest that you have a look at the XML API feature if it fits your needs:

https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/docs/DOC-1031

If you are looking to monitor system health parameters, you can also configure SNMP to achieve this.

Thanks,

Ahsan
