Global Protect Commit Warning

L3 Networker

Hi,

I'm getting a slightly perplexing commit warning from Global Protect. I am using almost entirely defeault settings for the Portal Agent, so I'm not entirely sure what this warning is pertaining. My only guess is its referring to the setting I have pictured below? But i dont see how it can be flagged for "misses information" when a setting is configured by default.

Any clues?

Details:
. Config 'Portal':
. GlobalProtect App Dynamic Configuration misses informaion for 'restart-gpa'.
. (Module: sslvpn)
. Configuration committed successfully
Warnings:

Running a VM-100 on version 7.1.8 via Panorama VM on same version.

Thanks

Hi ewspall_telstra,

Thanks for posting in the community forums!

Try this:

1) Open CLI to the firewall.

2) Goto configure mode. Just type 'configure' press Enter and the prompt should change to #.

3) Type:

# show global-protect global-protect-portal <PORTALNAME> client-config configs <AGENTCONFIGNAME> gp-app-config config

4) If you see "restart-gpa" anywhere, you can delete it using the command:

# show global-protect global-protect-portal <PORTALNAME> client-config configs <AGENTCONFIGNAME> gp-app-config config restart-gpa

Regards,

Anurag
