L1 Bithead

Regards,

have GlobalProtect 3.1.4-7 + N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router (TL-WDR3600).

When using wifi everything is OK.

When using LAN (UTP cable) VPN connection trough GP is interupcted periodicaly for couple of pings and then restored back.

Im losing my nerves with this one.

If connected trough LAN without Router (direct to the modem) everything works fine aswell with wireless trough router!

But router trough LAN not!!!

Please help me!

Hi,

Not sure if you tried to change the cable between the LAN of your router and the client machine. How about other services? Everything works fine? Did you try to compare debug logs when connected through the wifi and LAN (UPD cable)?

Thx,

Myky

LAN cable is ok (if conected directly to modem works just fine).

Other services are ok.

I'll check the difference between logs.

I'm almost willing to bet that the manufactorer of the router used some very cheap LAN ports and this is why you are experiencing the drop. Keep in mind that since most people wouldn't actually hird-wire anything in there house manufactoers often cheap out on the actual LAN connections, instead using better equipment for the wireless side of things.

checked all LAN ports, no difference.

Can anyone can confirm that problems are because of timeout?

Can i do any additional diagnostics within GP?
