High Sierra and GP 4.0.5

L1 Bithead

When installing GlobalProject on High Sierra we can connect to our site and install the software.  When we enter the portal and connect we just see a spinning disc.  It never connects, never asks for credentials.  This only happens on High Sierra.

@wicklunds,

That's a little odd seeing as High Sierra was supported since 4.0.3. Do the log files give you any indication into why this is failing at all?

No, but we are a windows shop and only have a couple of employees that use Macs from home.  Trying to get one now so I can see it in real time and get the log files.

@wicklunds,

Ya I would say that Log files is kinda where you have to sit with this one. You could try updating the client but 4.0.5 should function perfectly fine.

Hi @wicklunds

Try this:

  1. Boot mac os in recovery mode
  2. Execute de command "spctl kext-consent add PXPZ95SK77" in the terminal (PXPZ95SK77 is the unique identifier for Palo Alto Networks)
  3. Remove GlobalProtect for Mac OS
  4. Reinstall GlobalProtect for Mac OS

Do you use a macbook or Mac/iMac?
