Unfortunately to get your hands on a local trial version, you will need the assistance of a sales person as we don't have public trial software.

If your intent is to 'play around' with the system to learn, you can always look into our LearningCenter for training material and the available labs

You can also look into joining the Fuel User Group, they also have some free demo labs : https://www.fuelusergroup.org/page/fuel-virtual-test-lab-8.0

lastly, you can also look into spinning up a free AWS instance (there's a demo option where you only pay 'uptime' on the AWS cloud but not the firewall and features bit)
